Well, Ojai Trees is now partnering with local funeral home, Marshall Funeral, to do just that. Owner and local Ojai Trees volunteer, Monica Marshall, can come to you in the comfort of your own home to explain the process and offer their funeral services, including the tree planting with the burial of cremated ashes.

In addition to giving your loved one a beautiful final resting place, you are giving a tree as a gift to future generations. The biodegradable urn with special soil amendment that will protect your tree from the high pH level and sodium content of the cremated remains. It is a “green” burial with purchasing of your tree through Ojai Trees and the labor provided by Ojai Trees volunteers.
